In the heart of Brantford, Ontario, an unforgettable night of music, charity, and hometown pride came to life at the Affinity Conference Centre in Brantford.
The event featured the iconic Canadian rock band, The Pursuit of Happiness, and talented singer/songwriter Felicia McMinn, all for a noble cause – raising funds for the Brant County SPCA and a new animal center. With over 300 enthusiastic guests in attendance, the stage was set for an exceptional evening. Pynx Pro was thrilled to provide the AV Production.
Before The Pursuit of Happiness took the stage, Port Dover’s own Felicia McMinn treated the audience to a soulful opening act. With her mesmerizing voice, she performed a mix of cover songs and original compositions, setting the perfect tone for the evening. Pynx Pro’s AV setup ensured that Felicia’s music reached every corner of the venue, immersing the audience in her heartfelt melodies.
As the lights dimmed and anticipation reached its peak, The Pursuit of Happiness seized the stage. The band’s catalog of songs filled the air, instantly captivating the audience. For many in attendance, the highlight was undoubtedly the performance of “Gretzky Rocks,” a homage to Brantford’s beloved hero, Wayne Gretzky. The song resonated deeply with the hometown crowd, celebrating their legendary sports icon.
In the end, the Pursuit of Happiness concert became more than just a musical event; it became a celebration of community, compassion, and hometown pride. With the efforts of event organizer Phil Gillies, the generosity of the attendees, the event raised a remarkable $7,500 for the Brant County SPCA and their new animal center.
