That’s why when Drysource, a leading disaster restoration and emergency climate control company, sought to educate contractors on large property losses due to flooding, they turned to Pynx Pro for a comprehensive training seminar audio visual solution. Together, we embarked on an immersive journey dubbed “The Big Flood,” aimed at equipping attendees with the knowledge and tools to tackle even the most daunting restoration scenarios.
Drysource envisioned a training seminar of grand proportions, but faced a spatial dilemma: they needed to accommodate a large audience while simultaneously deconstructing their office space. The ingenious solution? A sprawling tent erected in the parking lot, serving as the education centre. Here, under the canopy, 150 eager participants gathered to delve into the intricacies of disaster remediation.
The adjacent building served as a filming location and demonstration centre. Drysource simulated flood damage by releasing 40,000 gallons of water across a 100,000 square foot area. This live demonstration allowed the group in the education centre to witness the remediation process in real time with a video feed provided by Pynx Pro.
The heart of the presentation was an 11′ x 6.5′ LED video wall to display video feeds and presentations. This colossal screen played a pivotal role, seamlessly broadcasting live video feeds from the flooded office, offering an intimate glimpse into the restoration process. Additionally, the LED wall facilitated hybrid communication, welcoming virtual international guests for remote presentations and accommodating screen shares of essential phone applications.
Audio excellence was non-negotiable, and Pynx Pro delivered. The education centre boasted 8 channels of wireless RF transmitters with receivers, offering flexibility and adaptability to suit diverse presentation styles. From handheld microphones to discreet headset worn microphones and the innovative Catch Box throwable microphone, every voice found its resonance.
Complementing the crystal-clear audio were the Adamson CS7P speakers, ensuring every word reverberated with clarity and impact. Pynx also provided a podium with a gooseneck microphone on it.
Meanwhile, back in the office space, a wireless camera relay system and team worked tirelessly behind the scenes, seamlessly transmitting video footage to the education centre. This ingenious setup allowed attendees to witness firsthand the meticulous restoration efforts, showcased in vivid detail on the LED video wall. From strategic dehumidification to precision drying techniques, every step of the process unfolded before their eyes, fostering a deeper understanding of the intricacies involved in disaster remediation.
The seminar was more than just a visual and auditory spectacle; it was an interactive journey of discovery. Live-streamed webinar sessions facilitated real-time engagement, with attendees posing questions and receiving expert insights from Drysource co-founder Kevin Dooley and other guest speakers.
