Pynx Pro was asked to provide video production services for the Wilfred Laurier University Brantford Spring Convocation inside of The Sanderson Centre for the Performing Arts.
This was a two part video production that included live streaming video so that friends and family of the graduates could watch the ceremony from home, as well as broadcasting the video to the in-house video screen at the Sanderson Centre.
Pynx provided a three camera operation for this event. Two cameras were pointed directly at the stage and a third camera was used to catch the graduates and their families emotions in the room during the ceremony. This video production utilized some of the in-house components at the Sanderson Centre, while we worked side by side with some of the City of Brantford’s best technicians and in-house staff.
VIDEO
This video production used three cameras, a roland video switcher and a black magic design to accomplish the live streaming video to a UStream account for the family members of the Wilfred Laurier University Brantford graduates who were unable to attend the event live in person.
I.T.
We worked closely with the IT technicians from the City of Brantford and staff at The Sanderson Centre to make sure the connection was strong enough to send an HD video signal.
Multi Day Event
The Wilfred Laurier University Brantford Spring Convocation took place over three full days inside of the Sanderson Centre. One day of set up and prep, followed by two full days of video production and live streaming video.
