ABOUT THE KNOWLEDGE BUREAU CONFERENCE
In October of 2022, The Knowledge Bureau held their annual DAC Acuity Conference, bringing together leading tax, accounting, and financial professionals from across the nation. As a certified post-secondary institution, The Knowledge Bureau is committed to providing world-class financial education to improve wealth potential and secure financial futures. The Knowledge Bureau conference was held in Niagara Falls at the Niagara Falls Convention Centre.
To ensure a seamless event, they turned to Pynx Pro to provide all of their audio visual needs.
Pynx Pro was up for the challenge, bringing our expert knowledge and years of experience to the table. The conference required a wide range of audio and visual components, including microphones for speakers and panels, large screens for presentations, high-quality sound systems, stage lighting, and even DJ services for the banquet.
AUDIO
Pynx Pro knew that a well-designed sound system was essential for the conference’s success. We worked closely with The Knowledge Bureau to assess the venue’s unique acoustics and design a sound system that would deliver clear, crisp audio to every attendee, whether they were in the front row or the back of the room.
By strategically placing speakers throughout the conference space, Pynx Pro was able to ensure that everyone could hear every word of the presentations and discussions. Our audio technicians distributed the sound to another rooms in the venue to ensure that attendees in different areas could enjoy the event and its content without being physically present in the main room.

In addition to audio, Pynx Pro provided high-quality visual components for the conference. We worked closely with The Knowledge Bureau to design custom graphics and videos to display on the two large screens throughout the conference space, enhancing the visual experience for attendees.
Pynx also made sure that every speaker and panelist had access to top-of-the-line presentation equipment, ensuring that their slides and visuals were displayed flawlessly.
We utilized live cameras to display presenters on projection screens, specifically Canon XA55 4K Cameras for multi-angle filming.

LIGHTING
The expertise of Pynx Pro didn’t stop at audio and video. Pynx also provided expert stage lighting to enhance the overall ambiance of the conference. With careful consideration of the venue’s unique lighting needs, Pynx Pro designed a lighting system that was both functional and visually stunning, providing just the right amount of light to create a warm and inviting atmosphere.
Our corporate audio visual department designed a vibrant lighting setup that was appropriate for a daytime corporate setting, incorporating the Knowledge Bureau’s brand colours. Later in the evening, the colours were modified to complement their Halloween-themed dance party, which was facilitated by Pynx DJ Services.

DJ SERVICES
Pynx Pro provided DJ services for the conference banquet. We worked closely with The Knowledge Bureau to understand their specific musical preferences and design a custom playlist that would keep guests entertained throughout the night. With a state-of-the-art sound system and expert DJ services, Pynx Pro ensured that the banquet was a huge success, providing a fun and engaging atmosphere for all attendees.
Ensuring compatibility between the presentations, videos, and graphics with our display systems was a challenge. Our on-site technicians worked diligently to make sure that media from multiple presenters was compatible with our system and displayed at the highest quality.
Acquiring media content from various sources, such as PowerPoint presentations and videos, can be challenging. Fortunately, our audio visual technicians have expertise in optimizing media content for large-scale presentations.
Ensuring that sound quality in adjacent rooms didn’t mix together and sounded excellent in both rooms was another challenge during the event.
