When it comes to delivering high-energy, high-impact country music experiences, few events do it quite like Dirt Road Revival in Owen Sound.
On April 26, 2025, this annual country concert returned to the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre in Owen Sound, Ontario—and this year’s show was one for the books. From rising stars to award-winning headliners, country music fans were treated to an unforgettable night of twang, talent, and toe-tappin’ good times.
Pynx Pro provided full AV production—including stage, sound, lighting, and special effects—transforming the OHL hockey arena into a top-tier concert venue.
Let’s take a behind-the-scenes look at how it all came together.

The Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre is a staple venue in Owen Sound, known for its role in the Ontario Hockey League. But when concert night rolls around, it’s a different game entirely. Pynx Pro arrived early on-site to begin converting the space into a full-scale concert arena, using our trusted Stageline SL100 stage as the centerpiece.
The SL100 is a workhorse of a mobile stage. Its compact footprint is perfect for indoor spaces like hockey arenas, yet it delivers the professionalism and strength needed for arena-grade concerts. The stage was decked out with everything the artists requested in their riders, including backline equipment, in-ear monitors, and ample space for instruments, mic stands, and lighting rigs.
Dirt Road Revival has always been a celebration of talent—and 2025’s lineup did not disappoint. Fans packed the arena to hear powerhouse performances from Erin Kinsey, Steven Lee Olsen, and Jess Moskaluke, with JUNO Award-winner Jade Eagleson headlining the night.
With each artist bringing their unique sound and high energy to the stage, it was critical that the audio and lighting production matched their level of professionalism. That’s where Pynx Pro came in strong.
Arena acoustics can be tricky—large open spaces, reflective surfaces, and a crowd full of cowboy hats all present unique challenges. That’s why we deployed our RCF Active Line Array Speaker system, and mixed through the Allen & Heath dLive C3500 console.
This combination allowed our audio engineers to dial in precise mixes for both the performers on stage and the audience in the arena. Every lyric, guitar solo, and kick drum hit with clarity and power. Artists used Shure and Sennheiser microphones—industry standards for high-quality live vocals—and our team ensured that every note sounded as good in the rafters as it did on the floor.
An Allen & Heath SQ7 mixer and RCF stage monitors were used to manage monitor mixes.
Our seasoned audio crew ensured that every artist felt comfortable and confident with their in-ear monitors and set up, creating an experience that let them focus purely on performance.
It wouldn’t be a concert without a light show to match the sound. Pynx Pro’s lighting director designed a custom lighting experience using ADJ Vizi Beams 12RX and ADJ Encores LP121P to add movement, colour, and atmosphere to each set.
Controlled via a Chamsys Lighting Desk, the lighting system was programmed to match each artist’s set list and energy—soft amber tones for slower ballads, vibrant strobes for foot-stomping anthems, and dramatic beams that cut through the haze and fog to spotlight emotional high points.
Our lighting techs also made great use of the arena’s vertical space, creating sweeping visual effects that filled the venue from floor to ceiling. And yes—we brought hazers and fog machines to add that extra wow factor. It’s not just about seeing the lights—it’s about feeling immersed in the moment.
One of the biggest challenges of producing a multi-artist concert? Keeping transitions between acts smooth, fast, and professional. With Pynx Pro on deck, there was no lag in momentum. Our crew worked closely with each artist’s team to ensure quick changeovers, consistent sound checks, and a polished presentation from start to finish.
Because we handled all audio, video, and lighting in-house, communication between departments was seamless. That meant less downtime between sets and more time for fans to enjoy the music they came to hear.
Professionalism is all about preparation—and our team came equipped to meet every condition in the artist riders. From backline gear to tech specs and monitor mixes, we made sure everything was exactly as each performer required.
Artists felt confident walking on stage, knowing that the technical support behind them was rock solid. That confidence translated into electrifying performances and an engaged, enthusiastic audience.
