ABOUT THE EVENT
The Ivey Business School at Western University, also known as the Richard Ivey School of Business, is a leading business school located in London, Ontario, Canada. It is one of the oldest and most prestigious business schools in Canada, and is consistently ranked as one of the top business schools in the country.
For their 100th Anniversary launch event, the school approached Pynx Pro for an assortment of audio visual solutions, with the goal of transforming their space for a truly memorable experience for their attendees.
THE CHALLENGE
Pynx Pro is a leading provider of corporate audio visual solutions, and we have a wealth of experience in transforming unique spaces into stunning, functional event venues. The space was beautiful, but it presented a number of challenges in terms of audio visual equipment and setup.
Some unique challenges presented to our lighting design team were to have perimeter uplighting throughout the entire venue and to create a textured ceiling effect with our moving head led lighting.
The first step in our process was to conduct a thorough assessment of the space, including a detailed analysis of the acoustics, lighting, and power supply. We used this information to create a detailed AV plan that would take full advantage of the unique features of the space, while also addressing any potential issues.
Next, we worked closely with the client to select the perfect audio visual equipment for the event. We chose high-quality, professional-grade equipment that would deliver clear, crisp sound and high-resolution video even in the challenging acoustics of the space. We also made sure to include a range of other features, such as state-of-the-art lighting, wireless microphones, and advanced video conferencing equipment, to ensure that the launch event would be a success.

Once the equipment was selected, we moved on to the installation phase.
